Job summary

Meadowbrook Care Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced full-time Activity Aide to perform activity functions as assigned; must be able to work a flexible schedule; position requires some weekends and evenings.

As an Activity Aide you will run activities, create flyers and other materials, shop for supplies, assist calendar preparation, and support resident well-being with creative expression and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior experience as activity assistant.
• Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred.

• Lead scheduled activities programs that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical and creative expressions
• Assist with the organizing, planning and implementation of programs and opportunities that promote resident well-being
• Enthusiastically promote and communicate programs and events to residents and

Activity Aide will be responsible for running activities, creating flyers and other materials, shopping for supplies, assisting with calendar preparation, and many other duties.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS OF Activity Aide:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Prior experience as activity assistant
• Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred
