Job summary

Cura Health is seeking an Activity Aide to enhance residents' quality of life through engaging activities in a compassionate, patient, and creative environment.

You will plan, lead, and support recreational and therapeutic activities tailored to residents, promote social interaction, and document progress while collaborating with staff and families. This role is onsite with weekend/holiday flexibility and offers paid time off and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recreational therapy, activities coordination, or related fields preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient attitude.
• Creativity and enthusiasm to develop engaging and diverse activities.
• Ability to work effectively with elderly or special needs populations.
• Physical ability to assist in activities and set up required materials.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all residents.

• Set up and clean activity areas and materials as needed.
• Encourage residents' independence and participation to enhance their quality of life.
