Job summary

Prairie Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Activity Aide to enhance daily living for residents through engaging activities and social interactions. You will support group and individual programs, document activities, and help shape the activity calendar.

Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing group and individual activity programs based on residents’ needs, interests, and abilities, as identified in assessments and care plans.
• Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Assist in creating the activity calendar and coordinating events.
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures.
• Encourage resident participation in Resident Council and schedule monthly meetings.
