Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking an Activity Aide to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational and social programs for residents, in line with each resident's assessment and care plan.

You will assist in developing and coordinating daily activities, prepare spaces, supervise engagement to promote physical, social, and mental well-being, and contribute to quality assurance for the Activities Department.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
• Must have patience and tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
