Job summary

Warren Barr South Loop is seeking an Activity Aide to enhance the social and emotional wellbeing of our residents at our Chicago facility. You will build meaningful interactions, encourage participation in activities, and help plan events inside and outside the home to support a high standard of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred but we will invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to residents and support emotional wellbeing.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and events.
• Assist with scheduling movies, planning parties, organizing games and crafts.
• Accompany residents on activities outside the facility.
