Job summary

Warren Barr North Shore is seeking an Activity Aide to join our caring team in Highland Park, IL. You will help maintain residents’ emotional and social wellbeing, providing companionship and encouraging participation in activities within and outside the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10th grade education.
• Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable but we’ll invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain emotional and social wellbeing of residents and provide companionship.
• Interact with residents to encourage participation in activities, e.g., scheduling movies, planning parties, organizing games and crafts.
• Accompany residents on activities outside the facility and support overall resident satisfaction.
