Arcadia-Ltc- is seeking an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, and emotional activities for residents, aligned with assessments and care plans.

The role requires patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm; duties include organizing activities, preparing rooms, and guiding resident engagement to support physical, social, and mental well-being. Full-time, Part-time, PRN available.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and chart daily activity programs.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Activity Aide is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties:

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
