Lawrence Healthcare in Walnut Ridge, AR, is seeking an Activities Aide to plan, organize, and facilitate meaningful recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents in a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes resident engagement and quality of life, with collaboration with the Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure safe, policy-aligned activities.

May include CNA duties and resident transportation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and active CNA license in good standing in Arkansas.
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
• Prior Activities Experience in a long term care facility preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist planning, organizing, and facilitating meaningful recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Promote resident engagement, socialization, independence, and quality of life through activities tailored to individual interests and needs.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director and nursing staff to conduct activities safely and in accordance with facility policies and resident care plans.
• Assist with transporting residents.
• May work as a CNA.

Job Summary:The Activities Aide assists with planning, organizing, and facilitating meaningful recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents in the long-term care facility. This position promotes resident engagement, socialization, independence, and quality of life by providing activities that accommodate residents’ individual interests, abilities, and needs. The Activities Aide works closely with the Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure activities are conducted safely, respectfully, and in accordance with facility policies and resident care plans. The Activity Aide will assist with transporting residents. May work as a C.N.A.

Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience:Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as a C.N.A in the state of Arkansas. Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program. Prior Activities Experience in a long term care facility preferred.
