Lawrence Healthcare in Arkansas is seeking an Activities Aide to plan, organize, and facilitate meaningful activities for long-term care residents, promoting engagement, independence, and quality of life. You will work closely with the Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure activities are safe, respectful, and aligned with resident care plans.

The role may involve transporting residents and may require CNA duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and active C.N.A license in good standing in Arkansas.
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and facilitate recreational, social and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Collaborate with Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure safety and adherence to care plans.
• Assist with transporting residents as needed.
• May work as a CNA.

Job Objective/Summary: The Activities Aide assists with planning, organizing, and facilitating meaningful recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents in the long-term care facility. This position promotes resident engagement, socialization, independence, and quality of life by providing activities that accommodate residents’ individual interests, abilities, and needs. The Activities Aide works closely with the Activities Director and nursing staff to ensure activities are conducted safely, respectfully, and in accordance with facility policies and resident care plans. The Activity Aide will assist with transporting residents. May work as a C.N.A.
Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience: Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as a C.N.A in the state of Arkansas. Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
