Job summary

Meadowbrook seeks an Activity Assistant to enrich residents' lives with engaging programs and personalized activities. You’ll plan, lead, and support a range of recreational and social experiences, working closely with the Activity Director and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Activity Director to plan and lead engaging programs
• Provide one-on-one visits and personalized activities for residents
• Organize a variety of group activities (small, medium, and large)
• Lead recreational, intellectual, and community-based programs
• Facilitate daily group or individual exercise sessions
• Assist with evening and weekend activities as needed
• Track and document resident participation and progress
• Support care planning with interdisciplinary teams
• Welcome new residents and introduce activity opportunities
• Help create and evaluate monthly activity schedules
• Prepare materials and supplies for daily programming
