Job summary

Cooperstown Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Cooperstown, NY is hiring an energetic, full-time Activities Aide to join our skilled nursing facility. You will implement engaging activities programs for residents and work directly on units with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include organizing supplies, assisting with program areas, documenting participation, and ensuring residents are guided to and from activities.

Qualifications

• A valid NY CNA license is positive but not required.
• Experience with activities in a healthcare setting or college work in recreation therapy.
• Previous experience with the geriatric population preferred.
• Strong computer skills necessary.
• Positive attitude and energy is a must!!
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to multi-task.
