Job summary

Cooperstown Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Cook in Cooperstown, NY to prepare, cook and serve a variety of meals in a skilled nursing setting. You will bake rolls, cookies and desserts, and assist on the tray line during service.

The ideal candidate has a healthcare cooking certification, at least 1 year of large-scale cooking experience, and strong customer service and communication skills. The role may involve supporting the food service director in their absence.

Qualifications

• Certification in healthcare cooking (SERV Safe or Sodexo) required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in large-scale cooking.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale & therapeutic food prep.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Will manage Kitchen in absence of food service director.
