Job summary

Apploi is seeking an Activity Aide to support planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational and social programs for residents. You will assist in organizing activities, preparing spaces, and promoting resident well‑being through engaging activities.

Applicants should have experience in long-term care activities, and demonstrate patience, tact, and enthusiasm to work with residents at varying levels of maturity. Roles include part-time, full-time, and PRN options within a care facility.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of the Activity Aide is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents.
