Job summary

Complete Care of Plainfield is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to enrich the lives of residents through planned recreational programs and meaningful engagement.

Evenings Tue/Thu 6:00–8:00 p.m. and weekends 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. are required; we offer a supportive team environment, PTO, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Must be outgoing, creative, empathetic, and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in planned recreational programs for residents
• Encourage participation and ensure resident safety during activities
• Communicate any concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain attendance records for events
• Help decorate the facility for holidays and seasonal events
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Activities or Administrator
