Job summary

Complete Care at Madison is hiring an Activity Aide to plan and lead engaging recreational activities for residents. No long-term care experience is required, just a positive attitude and creativity.

You will work with the Director of Activities, nursing staff, and other team members to promote socialization, engagement, and quality of life for residents in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with seniors is a plus but not required.
• Creative, outgoing, dependable and compassionate personality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
• Genuine interest in working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Lead and assist with group activities, games, entertainment, crafts, and special events.
• Provide meaningful one-on-one engagement for residents.
• Encourage residents to participate while respecting individual interests and abilities.
• Help create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
• Monitor resident participation and report concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain accurate activity attendance and participation records.
• Help decorate the community for holidays, seasons, and special events.
• Work closely with the Director of Activities, nursing team, and other staff.
• Support activities that promote resident socialization, engagement, and quality of life.

Complete Care at Madison is hiring a friendly, compassionate, and energetic Activity Aide to join our team. If you enjoy working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences, this is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

As an Activity Aide, you’ll help plan and facilitate engaging recreational activities, social events, games, entertainment, and one-on-one activities that promote socialization, independence, and quality of life.

No long-term care experience required—we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, creativity, and genuine desire to make a difference.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with seniors is a plus, but not required
• Previous experience in activities, recreation, hospitality, customer service, education, or healthcare is a plus
• Creative, outgoing, dependable, and compassionate personality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills
• Patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm
• A genuine interest in working with and supporting older adults

Schedule

Full-time and part-time positions available

Must be available to work either Saturday or Sunday.
