Job summary

Arcadia Care in Illinois is seeking an Activity Aide to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs for residents in accordance with assessments and care plans.

You will assist in organizing daily activities, preparing spaces, and supervising residents to promote physical, social, and mental well-being; provide a warm, patient, and cheerful presence to residents and teammates.

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and chart daily activity programs and quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Prepare and clean activity rooms for scheduled programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
