Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Part Time Activities Assistant at our Louisville, KY facility. You will assist in activities to meet residents' social, emotional, physical, and other therapeutic needs and help promote activities inside and outside the facility.

You may provide in-room activities for residents who cannot attend daily events, help create an ongoing calendar, and ensure compliance with state standards for scheduling and documentation. CNA experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA Preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet the social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities within and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in the creation of an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.
