Job summary

Signature HealthCARE's Activities Department is looking for team members to support residents' social, emotional, and physical well-being through on-site and in-room activities.

Assist in planning and promoting activities, create calendars, and ensure standards are met. CNA preferred but not required; prior healthcare experience is a plus. This position is on-site with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities both within and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Assist in the activities to meet the social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents
• Assist in the initiation and promotion of activities both within the facility and outside the facility.
• Provide in room activities for residents who are unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in the creation of an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation

What You Need To Make a Difference

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA Preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Must be able to work every other Sat & Sun.
