Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking team members for our Activities Department. Here, you will play a vital role in enhancing residents' lives by facilitating activities that cater to their emotional, physical, and social needs.

Your focus will be on promoting engagement within the facility and the larger community while ensuring documentation meets State Standards. Previous experience in healthcare or activities is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA Preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the activities to meet therapeutic needs of residents.
• Promote activities within and outside of the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for non-attendees.

How you Will make a difference

• Assist in the activities to meet the social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents
• Assist in the initiation and promotion of activities both within the facility and outside the facility.
• Provide in room activities for residents who are unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in the creation of an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation
• Solicit the involvement of the community when planning facility activities and events.
