Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Lebanon, Indiana, is seeking an Activities staff member to support the social, emotional, and therapeutic needs of residents in a 106-bed facility. You will assist in planning, promoting, and delivering activities both inside and outside the facility, including in-room programming for residents who cannot attend daily events.

Experience in Activities/Healthcare is preferred but not required; CNA is optional.

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA Preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiation and promotion of activities both within and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing calendar of activities.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Solicit community involvement when planning facility activities and events.

How you Will make a difference
