Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in activities, event planning, hospitality, recreation, or a related field required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage residents and build relationships.
• Energetic, creative, and dependable with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lead and facilitate group activities confidently.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a team player with strong time management skills.
• Experience working with older adults or in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Certification as an Activities Professional or Certified Dementia Practitioner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the activities program.
• Coordinate activities in accordance with CMS, DSS, DOH, and facility requirements.
• Engage residents and lead group activities, ensuring safety and quality.
