Job summary

Nexus Health in Chicago, IL seeks an Activities Assistant to support the planning and implementation of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that enhance residents' quality of life.

You will assist in planning and implementing individual and group activities, provide enrichment for all residents, and encourage participation. You will also prepare for resident care conferences and set up sites/materials for activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to become certified.
• Prior experience with elderly patients preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills."

Responsibilities

• Plan and assist in the planning and implementation of individual and group activities.
