Nexus Health is seeking an Activities Assistant to support planning and implementation of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that enhance residents' quality of life.

You will coordinate individual and group activities, provide enrichment, encourage participation, and help prepare for resident care conferences.

The role requires a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience with elderly patients, with a collaborative team culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to become certified.
• Prior experience with elderly patients preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementation of individual and group activities.
• Provide enrichment activities for all residents.
• Encourage participation and involvement of all residents.
• Prepare for and participate in resident care conferences.
• Prepare sites and materials for activities.
