Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager to craft personalized Life Skills experiences, fostering purpose and meaningful moments for memory-impaired residents.

You will lead daily engagement, organize enrichment activities, and tailor programs using resident profiles. Qualifications include 1+ year memory care experience and a HS diploma; strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
