PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENT:

The Activities Assistant provides individualized activity care and services for residents. This role functions as part of the activities department team and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams for assigned units to foster team success.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior work or life experiences, preferably in healthcare
• Experience with related software applications is preferred
• Ability to plan, organize, and conduct various activities
• Basic computer literacy and skills
• Active state driver’s license
