At Nemacolin, our associates embrace the motto “Expect the Unexpected.” This role offers an exciting opportunity where entertainment and guest experience are the focus. The Activities Pool Deck Host will create memorable moments at The Peak pool and activities areas, overseeing and facilitating pool deck activities to ensure a 5-star guest experience. Responsibilities include maintaining area cleanliness and organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Create engaging “Real Life Magic” experiences for guests of all ages at The Peak pool deck.
• Interact enthusiastically with guests, displaying energy and social skills.
• Coordinate and emcee events such as bingo, trivia, game shows, and kids’ activities.
• Assist in developing pool activities programming.
• Provide guests with information and resort literature.
• Report on programming progress and participate in planning meetings for holidays and special events.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, following up with management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Effective microphone use to engage large groups courteously.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience as a master of ceremonies or in entertainment (theatre, music, dance, comedy) preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong customer service, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
• Professional, polished, and guest-oriented demeanor.
• Friendly, passionate, and outgoing personality.
• Knowledge of outdoor activities is preferred.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and perform high-energy tasks.
• Flexible availability including holidays and weekends.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
