The Californian in Pasadena, California is looking for an enthusiastic Activities Director to lead and evaluate a program of recreational activities for our residents. You will design, implement, and assess engaging experiences that support physical, emotional, and social well-being in a 64-bed skilled nursing setting.

• Develop and oversee a diverse range of activities, including cultural and educational programs, social events, and recreational activities, in collaboration with our residents and their families
• Plan and execute special events, such as theme parties, outings, and holidays, to create a festive atmosphere
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to bring new and exciting experiences to our community
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed to ensure resident engagement and satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records and reports of activities, including attendance, participation, and evaluations
• Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive community

Job Summary:

The Californian is seeking a dynamic and experienced Activities Director to join our team in Pasadena, California. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating a variety of recreational programs and activities that cater to the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in activities direction or a related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
