Job summary

Tutera Senior Living and Health Care is seeking an Activities Director for Stratford Commons Memory Care Community. You will plan and implement engaging programs that meet residents' social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical needs as outlined in care plans.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in recreation therapy or related field, licensure, and at least one year as an Activities Director in a long-term care setting; two years in social and recreational programs is

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Accreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area. Should be licensed or registered either nationally or by the State in which practicing.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
• Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, one of which must be full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
