Aspire Senior Living is seeking an experienced Activities Director for a full-time day position in New Florence, MO. You will plan and lead engaging recreational, social, and educational programs that enhance residents' quality of life, while collaborating with our care team to meet individual needs.

Qualificações

• A degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in activities direction in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, and implement a variety of recreational, social, and educational programs to meet the diverse interests and abilities of our residents.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive activities calendar, ensuring a mix of activities that cater to different age groups and abilities.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers to assist with activities and events.
• Coordinate and participate in special events, such as birthday celebrations, holiday parties, and cultural activities.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and program evaluation.
• Develop and manage the activities budget, ensuring effective use of resources.
