Job summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon, FL seeks an Activities & Recreation Attendant to welcome guests, plan and lead daily activities, and arrange excursions. You will assist with reservations, local recommendations, and arranging transportation and events while ensuring safety and a high standard of guest service.

The role requires at least 1 year in a resort setting, strong customer service skills, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a luxury coastal environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience at a resort or luxury resort.
• Excellent customer service and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of safety protocols.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and serve as a friendly, knowledgeable contact.
• Handle basic administrative, reception, and front-desk duties.
• Arrange transportation, tours, excursions, and activities upon request.
• Provide recommendations on local attractions, dining, and recreation.
• Make dinner and event reservations and arrange tickets.
• Provide or arrange general business services for guests.
• Plan and lead daily activities such as crafts, games, and events.
• Inspect recreational equipment and ensure safety and readiness.
• Assist guests with special needs using equipment and accessing activity areas.
• Support and enforce safety programs and policies.

Position Summary As an Activities & Recreation Attendant, you'll help create unforgettable moments for our guests. You'll welcome them, plan and lead daily activities, arrange excursions and reservations, and keep our recreation areas safe, clean, and ready for fun. Job Duties

• Provide or arrange general business services for guests.
• Plan and lead daily activities such as crafts, games, and special events.
• Clean and inspect recreational equipment regularly to keep it in good condition.
• Help guests with special needs use the recreational equipment and enter and exit activity areas safely.
• Support and enforce the company's safety programs and policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience at a resort or luxury resort.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of company safety protocols.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• The physical stamina to stand for long periods and work outdoors in the Florida Keys climate.
• A calm, friendly demeanor and good conflict-resolution skills.
