The Portofino Hotel & Marina, a Noble House Hotel, is seeking an Activities Center Associate to support daily operations of our on-site amenities. You will cashier, manage watersports rentals, fuel boats, and provide attentive guest service while ensuring safety and privacy.
This role offers hands-on interaction with hotel guests, coordination of indoor/outdoor activities, and collaboration with departments to deliver memorable experiences at our private Redondo Beach peninsula.

The Portofino Hotel offers a delightful array of amenities and activities in our prime South Bay location just a stone’s throw from the communities of Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach. With 168 rooms, multiple F&B outlets, banquets, guest activities and a 188-slip marina, your days are filled with diverse operations.

The individual will assist with the daily operation of the Activities center including cashiering, watersports rentals, boat fueling and guest service.
Responsible for arranging, executing and supervising all indoor and outdoor guests activity games/functions, providing privacy and safety. Administrate activities desk.

2. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service
procedures/standards.
3. Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
4. Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
5. Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
6. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
7. Set Up/Close Activities Station.
8. Assist with Maps and Directions.
9. Stock, Display and Loan/Rent Recreational Equipment.
10. Reserve Sporting Activities, when requested.
11. Coordinate Tournaments/Games.
12. Distribute Activities Sheets.
13. Conduct Guest Orientation.
14. Check out with Supervisor.
15. Pump fuel into boats.
