The position is part-time year-round, with a typical schedule of 5–10 hours per week across multiple venues and shifts such as mornings, afternoons, and weekends. At least 16 years old and First Aid/AED certification within 60 days are required.
The Activities Attendant supports recreation programs and facility operations at Lenexa facilities by providing customer service, supervising activities and events, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
This is a part-time, year-round position supporting our Birthday Party and Gym for Me program. Employees typically work 5-10 hours per week. Shifts will vary and are scheduled within the days and times listed below.
Under the general guidance of the Recreation Specialist, the Activities Attendant supports birthday parties, events, and recreation programs by preparing spaces, monitoring gymnasium areas, enforcing facility rules, and maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the facility.
$15.50 per hour.
Work is performed in a busy community and activity center environment. This position requires frequent standing and walking, occasional lifting and moving of tables, chairs, and activity equipment, and the ability to set up and tear down event spaces. Duties may include repetitive motions, extended periods of standing or sitting, exposure to noise, temperature changes, and general activity-related hazards.
Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a drug screen. A background check is required for applicants aged 18 and older.
