Job summary

The Club at Strawberry Creek in Kenosha, Wisconsin is seeking part-time staff to supervise school-age children and facilitate a wide range of physical, creative, and educational activities in the Activity room. Shifts are seasonally scheduled with potential additional hours for events.

Ideal candidates arrive punctually, communicate effectively, and uphold strict safety and behavior standards while supporting daily operations and emergency procedures.

Activities Room hours are season dependent. Additional hours for other activity programs or events may be available throughout the year. More hours are available in the summer when we are fully operational.

• Arrive for shifts in a timely and professional manner.
• Supervise school-age children
• Facilitate a variety of physical, creative, and educational activities.
• Enforce all Activity room policies, rules, and regulations.
• Inspect the facility and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor.
• Recognize and respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
• Models expectable behavior for participants by actively participating in activities.
• Ensures areas used for activities are kept clean and orderly throughout the day.
• Supervise school-age children
• Facilitate day-to-day operations.
• Complete additional duties assigned by supervisor.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• An understanding of child age-appropriate behavior and activities.
• Requires strong communication skills, positive attitude, initiative, flexibility, dependability, patience, and creativity.
• Ability to work and problem solve as a team player.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently.

Other Qualifications

• At least 14 years of age with a valid work permit
• Previous experience working with youth preferred
