Job summary

LCB Senior Living, LLC is hiring for The Residence at Otter Creek in Vermont. We are seeking an enthusiastic Activity Assistant and a Van Driver to support residents with engaging programs and safe transportation.

Full-time roles require a valid drivers license, 6+ years driving experience for van operations, and a passion for seniors. Duties include planning activities, coordinating transportation, and assisting with newsletters and calendars.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in state of work with no more than two moving violations in three years.
• Previous experience in recreational therapy or gerontology preferred.
• Must be able to lift 15 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of residence activities.
• Develop ideas to improve Activities Program and engagement.
• Maintain warm, professional relationships with residents and families.
• Arrange transportation and escorts for activities and community events.
• Support volunteer programs and residence store operations.
• Assist with monthly newsletters and calendar planning.
• Drive residents in a 12-passenger van as needed.
• Attend ongoing training and work independently.
