Job summary

Altercare Louisville in Louisville, OH, is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant for weekend coverage from 9am to 3:30pm. The role involves organizing and delivering activity programming, including one‑to‑one interventions, small groups, and large presentations, under the supervision of the resident activity director.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED; healthcare activity experience is a plus. CNA is preferred but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily activities to residents and assist with activities.
• Help residents participate in activities and document activities daily.
• Assist Activity Director with miscellaneous duties as needed.

Qualifications For Activities Assistant

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent
• CNA license is preferred, but we will train

Responsibility of communicating to residents the daily activities, helping residents to activities, doing daily documentation and helping with miscellaneous duties that the Activity Director brings forth.

Experience with residents in a healthcare setting in an activity nature, is a plus.
