Job summary

Altercare of Somerset is seeking an Activities Assistant to create a fun, interactive environment for residents.

You will organize and participate in one-to-one and small group activities and assist the resident activity director as needed. STNA license preferred; HS diploma or GED required, healthcare activities experience a plus.

Qualifications

• STNA license is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming.

Resident Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one to one interventions and small group activities. The Activities Assistant will assist the resident activity director as needed.
