Job summary

Altercare Country Lawn in Navarre, Ohio is seeking a part-time Resident Activity Assistant to organize and participate in person-specific activity programming. You will assist the activity director with one-to-one interventions, small group facilitation, and large group presentations to engage residents.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, healthcare activities experience, and a CNA license is preferred (training provided).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent.
• CNA license preferred, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Communicate residents' daily activities to participants.
• Assist residents with activities and facilitate engagement.
• Maintain daily documentation and support the Activity Director with duties.

Responsibility of communicating to residents the daily activities, helping residents to activities, doing daily documentation and helping with miscellaneous duties that the Activity Director brings forth.

Experience with residents in a healthcare setting in an activity nature, is a plus.
