Job summary

Hemet Hills Post Acute is seeking a passionate Activities Aide to create meaningful moments for residents at our Hemet, CA facility. You will lead engaging, individualized activities and help plan monthly calendars to enhance daily life for both short- and long-term residents.

Ideal candidates bring experience in a skilled nursing setting and a positive, creative disposition. CPR is a bonus, and a team-first mindset is strongly valued as we expand our campus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is a strong plus.
• Prior experience as an activity aide or activity director is highly preferred.
• CPR certification is a bonus.
• A positive attitude, creativity, and a genuine desire to brighten residents’ days.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging individual and group activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
• Provide personalized in-room activities such as music, reading, and creative projects for bed-bound residents.
• Assist with development of the monthly activity calendar.
• Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming activity spaces.
• Communicate important updates to supervisors and caregivers to ensure each resident feels supported and seen.

Your Role as an Activities Aide

As an Activities Aide, you will help create meaningful moments and enriching experiences for our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading engaging individual and group activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
• Providing personalized in-room activities such as music, reading, and creative projects for bed-bound residents
• Assisting with the development of our monthly activity calendar
• Maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming activity spaces
• Communicating important updates to supervisors and caregivers to ensure each resident feels supported and seen
