Job summary

Victorian Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Assistant to support our Activity Director in creating engaging programs for residents in San Francisco, CA. This part-time weekend role emphasizes meaningful activities that enhance physical, mental, and social well-being.

You will help plan and lead activities, coordinate outings and events, and encourage participation in hobbies while maintaining an organized Activity Department. Hourly pay ranges from $21 to $23.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This role helps provide meaningful activities that support residents' physical, mental, and social well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading individual, small group, and large group activities
• Support resident outings, special events, transportation coordination, and activity documentation
• Encourage participation in hobbies, crafts, games, reading, and other recreational programs
• Maintain a clean and organized Activity Department while assisting with resident assessments and care plans

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with elderly and disabled residents
