Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant (16 hours/week) to engage seniors through planned activities and events at our Greensburg, PA location.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and a compassionate, outgoing personality with the ability to work cooperatively with residents and families. You’ll support the Activity Director and participate in ongoing orientation and training.

Qualifications

• Must relate professionally and positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with others.
• Must successfully complete post-offer background check and physical/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director with planning and delivering recreation programs and activities for residents.
• Complete required documentation and help plan/lead special events; maintain supplies and equipment.

Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is currently looking for a part time Activities Assistant! We are seeking candidates who have a passion for working with seniors. Applicants should be creative, outgoing, and motivational to our residents in activities and events.

Requirements of theActivities Assistant:

• High School diploma or GED

• Must be able to relate professionally and positively to our residents and families and to work cooperatively with others

• A wholehearted individual whose interests lie with our residents, and meeting the recreation program and service needs.

• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities of theActivities Assistant:

• Assisting the Activity Director in the development, organization, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident.

• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.
