Under the Director of Activities, you will plan and conduct engaging activities, assist residents with daily tasks, and help maintain records of participation while fostering creativity and community. This role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and dependable weekend/evening availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or working with the elderly/disabled preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Athens Health and Rehab, a skilled nursing facility in Athens, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Activities Assistant to help bring joy, engagement, and purpose to our residents’ daily lives. In this role, you’ll work under the guidance of the Director of Activities to provide meaningful programs that enhance residents’ emotional, recreational, and social well-being.
