Job summary

Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to engage and motivate residents through creative and recreational activities. The role involves supporting seniors, coordinating events, and helping to create a friendly, stimulating environment at our Greensburg, PA location.

Applicants should be energetic, compassionate, and able to work with residents and their families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must relate professionally and positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with others.
• A wholehearted individual whose interests lie with residents and meeting recreation needs.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in developing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet residents' needs and interests.
• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.
