Winnwood- Activities Assistant
Tuesday- Saturday 10am-2pm

We provide a haven of hospitality to our residents providing assistance of daily activities, fine dining, limousine transportation, and the comfort of relaxing in a maintenance free lifestyle. Our residents are of the utmost priority, and we take pride in our experienced staff that treats each resident like family.

We are currently in need of an Activities Assistant to support our Activities Coordinator with the activity program for our senior residents. As the Activities Assistant you will be responsible for conducting structured activities as well as transporting residents to and from activity venues. You will assist in developing, and the coordination of social, physical, mental and educational activities that enhance and promote the therapeutic goals of the residents.

Qualifications:

• • Minimum of one year experience working in a retirement community.
  • Must have experience working as an Activities Assistant.
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
  • Must have a valid GA Driver's License.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • Must be able to work the required schedule of Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-2pm
  • College Degree Preferred
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
  • Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
