Darway Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our on-site team in a part-time role. You will plan, organize, and lead engaging activities to enrich residents’ lives, under the direction of the Activity Director.

This position emphasizes compassion, energy, and teamwork in a rewarding long-term care setting. The role offers flexible scheduling, daily pay through Tapcheck, and opportunities to collaborate with clinical and support staff to promote

Competenze

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Recreation, or related field preferred.
Experience in recreational activities, long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and social activities for residents.
Lead activities according to the monthly calendar.
Escort residents to activities, outings, and events as needed.
Coordinate with Activity Director and other departments to support care plans and documentation.
Maintain records of resident participation in activities.
Support volunteer programs and Resident Council meetings.
