Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking an Activities Assistant for the CCDI Unit in Iowa. The full-time role runs 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with no weekend shifts, supporting engaging programs across our Iowa communities, including Waterloo.

You will assist the activity director, maintain activity resources, and help with record-keeping while engaging residents and families and promoting meaningful recreational and therapeutic activities to support health and daily routines.

• A strong commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the activity director in implementing an activity program to meet each resident's needs.
• Maintain the resources needed for each resident's activity needs.
• Assist the activity director with required record keeping.
