Job summary

Care Initiatives in Iowa, Cedar Rapids area, is seeking an energized CCDI Unit Coordinator to support daily activity programs for residents across multiple facilities. You will assist the activity director, manage activity resources, and help with record-keeping while communicating with residents, families and the healthcare team.

You bring empathy, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for making daily routines meaningful.

Qualifications

• State-approved Activities Director Course or Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care.
• Empathy, respect, patience and discretion in interactions with residents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Interest in making everyday FUN and fulfilling for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the activity director in implementing an activity program to meet each resident’s needs.

• Assist the activity director in implementing an activity program to meet each resident’s needs.

Qualifications:

• Completion of state-approved Activities Director Course or Bachelors' Degree in Therapeutic Recreation. – Preferred
