Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan, organize, and direct recreational activities for residents. Join a team focused on physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being with a 1p-7p schedule and competitive weekly pay.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, tailoring programs to resident interests, and documenting activity outcomes while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with privacy rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Knowledge of the Privacy Rule and ability to ensure compliance.
• Patient, tactful, and cheerful disposition.
• Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
• Participation in continuing education and inservice training.

We are seeking a passionate and creative Activities Assistant to join our recreation team at Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center! As an Activities Assistant, you will assist in planning, organizing, and directing recreational activities for our residents, ensuring their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being is maintained. Weekly pay at $16 an hour. 1p-7p schedule including every other weekend.
