Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Rochester Hills is hiring for a part-time weekend role. You will promote hospitality and exceptional service to guests, families and visitors, contributing to a positive, healing environment.

Starting wages are $15.15 to $16.00 per hour, plus Hero Pay of $0.85 per hour and annual increases. Benefits include tuition reimbursement up to $2,500 per year, 401(k) with employer match, seven paid holidays, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long-term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deliver compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients and tailor programs to background, interests and abilities.
• Develop and display thematic decorations for holidays and events.

• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• You will assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• You will encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• You will evaluate patients according to their background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.
• You will develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred
