Rosewood Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Lake Worth Beach, FL is seeking a compassionate Activities Assistant to plan and facilitate engaging recreational and social activities for residents.

You will lead group and one-on-one activities, support residents’ daily living activities, and collaborate with nursing to promote well-being. AHCA screening requirement applies; MEPAP certification preferred.

Qualifikationen

• MEPAP certification preferred.
• Qualified Activities Assistant or relevant certification preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or resident activities preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests and abilities.
• Provide one-on-one assistance to residents as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of resident participation.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Help promote residents’ overall well-being and quality of life.
