Overview

Villas of Holly Brook and Reflections Memory Care is a leading operator of assisted living and memory care communities with over 30 locations across Illinois, Indiana, and Florida. We serve more than 1,700 seniors and employ over 1,400 staff members. Our mission is to create vibrant communities where older adults can thrive, participate, and feel valued, with access to opportunities and support to continue making a difference in the world.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead assigned activity programs.
  2. Offer diversified recreational activities with adequate supervision for each resident.
  3. Develop programs tailored for residents, including those confined to their rooms.
  4. Engage and motivate residents to participate in activities.
  5. Inform residents of upcoming activities and maintain a current schedule on the bulletin board.
  6. Greet new residents, include and engage them in activities, and introduce them to others with similar interests.
  7. Plan parties and activities, decorate the community according to seasons and holidays, and organize monthly birthday celebrations.
  8. Support community census-building initiatives.
  9. Maintain records of activities, resident participation, and acceptance levels as required by law.
  10. May operate a company vehicle for community outings (if required).
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Must be at least 16 years old.
  2. Ability to read, understand instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  3. Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
  4. Flexibility to work various schedules and shifts, including weekends.
